What Is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?
CSA is a contractual agreement between a farmer and a consumer. Each week during the growing season, every consumer recieves a CSA box filled with fresh, locally grown produce. Consumers known as shareholders purchase a share prior to the growing season. Each share will contain several different products every week throughout that month. Specific quantities or products will vary with weather conditions. Each shareholder establishes a close connection to the production of their food.

The produce we will be offering is: Strawberries, Cabbage, Garden Peas, Lettuce, Spring Onions, Broccoli, Okra, String Beans, New Potatoes, Corn, Cucumbers, Squash, Cantaloupe, Cabbage, Blackberries, Peas & Butterbeans (shelled), Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Watermelon, and Sweet Potatoes.. Did I miss anything?
As mentioned earlier, Andrew and I both have brochures (that I designed) if you or someone you know is intrested :) Im assuming if you are up here you must know one of us! Andrew and I want to personally thank each of you who have already purchaced a CSA share this growing season- without you we could not have made it where we are now. It has been exciting and has opened new doors for the both of us.
